-A cargo claim is a written complaint demanding financial compensation from Amerijet International Airlines for loss of, damage or
delay to cargo whilst in care and control pursuant to a contract of carriage.
In the case of damage or delay, the person entitled to delivery must complain to Amerijet International Airlines within the time lines stated below. If no complaint is made within the times indicated below, then no action can be brought against Amerijet International Airlines.

If a preliminary claim was not submitted through our e-Claims portal, then a copy of the official complaint made to Amerijet International Airlines must be uploaded into your formal claim file. Also an official claim from the person entitled to delivery must also be uploaded.
Filing deadline for concealed damage claim 14 days from the date of delivery for damage, shortage, or pilferage claims; 120 days for claims involving non-delivery. Claims filed later are subject to denial.
Inspection procedure For potential claims in excess of $1,000, we reserve the right to send a surveyor to examine the cargo.
Initial notification of claim: Use the Claim Letter form.
Depending on the type and extent of the loss, Seven Seas Insurance may require additional documents to substantiate your claim.
